Application Checklist
Returning the materials requested below is the first step in earning an exceptional education at The University of Toledo.
- Complete this online application.
Print and sign the application agreement statement that is displayed once the application is submitted.
This application also serves as an application for most of The University of Toledo's Admission Scholarships for high school students graduating in 2008.
Maximum scholarship consideration will be given to students whose application for admission, application fee, official transcripts, and test scores are received by the December 1, 2007 priority postmark deadline.
Guest (Transient) students please download and complete the
Guest Student Application instead of this online application and mail it to The University of Toledo.
- $40 nonrefundable application fee.
You will be required to make a credit card payment before you submit your application.
Please make sure to enter your name and address exactly as they appear on your credit card billing statement.
If this information does not match exactly, your payment may be declined and the amount of money for each declined payment may temporarily appear on your account as a charge, thus temporarily tying up some of your available line of credit.
- Official high school transcript or a copy of a GED diploma and scores if applicable and college transcripts from every institution you attended.
You may download and print a transcript request form and give it to each school you attended.
Guidance counselors and advisors from those schools can assist you in providing these documents.
Mail all transcripts to the address listed below.

An Ohio resident who does not submit an ACT or SAT result will be required to take placement exams, and results of these exams may require that a student take developmental course work prior to taking specific college-level courses.

The minimum academic core requirements are: 4 years/units of English; 3 years/units of natural science; 3 years/units of social science; and 3 years/units of math (including algebra I and II and geometry or equivalent).
- Ohio residents out of high school for one year or more and non-Ohio residents out of high school for two years or more only need to submit test scores for scholarship consideration.
Students with transfer work taken after high school do not have to submit test scores except for scholarship consideration.
- Transfer students who have less than 15 semester (22 quarter) hours and who graduated high school in 2005, 2006, or 2007 should submit official high school transcripts/GED scores and ACT/SAT scores for scholarship consideration.
