CAMPUS SUMMARY
BGSU Firelands is a closely knit campus with faculty and staff who are ready to help
you from your first day of classes right through to graduation. Small classes, with an
average of 18-20 students, promote interaction between faculty and students both in
and out of the classroom.

Our four-building campus, including the new Cedar Point Center opening in summer
2003, is situated on 216 acres, including a 47-acre arboretum. Just one mile south of
Lake Erie, BGSU Firelands is located in Huron, south of Rt. 2 at the Rye Beach Road
exit. We are also 10 minutes east of the Cedar Point Amusement Park.

UNIQUE/SPECIAL PROGRAMS
BGSU Firelands offers five certificate programs, 14 associate degrees and nine
bachelor's degrees. There are two types of associate degrees which you can complete
at BGSU Firelands. Two-year career-oriented technical majors prepare students for
employment, while transfer associate degrees provide freshman- and sophomore-level
courses towards bachelor's degrees at BGSU and other colleges and universities.
Students can complete the first two years of more than 200 BGSU undergraduate
majors and programs.
